Version 7.0.4 of VivoSocial has been released. If you experienced any issues with the previous version, please update your modules to the 7.0.4 release and see if they persist. You can download the new releases from social.codeplex.com or our downloads page. If you have any questions about this release, please post them in our Support forums. If you are experiencing a bug or would like to request a new feature, please submit it to our issue tracker.

Business Management

• This release fixes a Could not load type error on the main view of the module.

Groups

• Group requests were failing in some instances.
• Private groups were displaying their logo twice on the browse page.

Seamus

• Active Directory authentication is working now, it has been broken since a security patch was done awhile back by Microsoft. Details can be seen here.
• Additionally, the itextsharp assembly has been updated to version 5.0.

Search

• Fixed Broken Images for Site, Site + Web, and AJAX Loading. Also fixed an issue with the search image and changed it to a png file.
• Links for Edit, Remove and Not Related results have been fixed. The Edit link also tries to find the correct Index Item instance, if not set in the module settings. For any site using more than one instance of Index Item, you may want to change the settings in Search to not use a specific instance of Index Item.
• We have removed focus from the search input textbox.

Search Directory

• SearchDirectory now has location based filtering aka GeoFiltering. This allows the user to filter search results by x miles of location. Miles can be Any, 10, 25, etc. and Location can be zipcode, address, state, country.
• Several GPS units and software support the GPX format for xml. Search Directory can export a gpx file by appending gpx=1 as a url parameter. Garmin GPS units for example can accept gpx files to load waypoints into your unit.
• A fix to the Scheduled Tasks was made because category counts were not being updated. This affected forum thread/post counts.
• Comments link has been fixed. It was broken by the update to DNN 5.2.3.

Tag Cloud

• Functionality for Trending has been added to the module. If trending is enabled in the module settings, the "tag cloud" becomes "top searches in the last 24 hours". This will show search queries rather than keywords.

Web Controls

• This release includes an update to SQL for vpsCheckbox, and fixes an install bug where the Vivo_Seamus table was not being created for some users.
