Open external links in a frame or new window

A quick question:

Let's say I'm using Vivo to import RSS feeds, or index content from exterior site(s).  When the user clicks the external link to view the whole story, is there a way to open that link in a frame or pop it up in another window using Vivo?

The reason for this is to give the visitor navigation tools to remain within your site, while they are browsing an article from an external source.  Being inside a frame also doesn't prevent the user from freely browsing the other site, but they will always have quick nav back to your own content.

Iframes would also work for this.

If this is not currently possible, this would be a great feature addition.

Yes. From SearchDirectory, there is even a setting for Frameset. You can also change the IndexItem template to load a iFrame if you wanted to by using the URL token
