At its core, VivoSocial utilizes the .Net architecture. All data is stored in a SQL Server database, and supports OpenId, LiveId, and Active Directory authorization. With webfarming support. it is possible to distribute the load over multiple servers for maximum performance.

VivoSocial and the DotNetNuke framework is open source (MIT Licesne). And, all modules included in VivoSocial are 100% templatable.
