Is it possible to add a page to a user's bookmarks when they click on a link instead of typing a URL? Also, is it possible to pass in a image url to get associated with the bookmark? Thanks

Currently, it doesn't do that. Feel free to put a feature request in the issue tracker.

You can use parameters to create your own link from other pages, passing url and title. They both need to be URLEncoded though.
