Knowledge Base: Can Vivo do archiving of articles, feeds, or other documents, and make the archive a different search than the current articles. The advantage to this is for a large site to maintain a library of past articles, but separate them from current articles (from the past few months or whatever), so as to not bog down the number of search results.

Knowledge Base: Great - I think it would be a very useful addition. Just to clarify (so there's no confusion)... It would be relevant to the specific user, and whether they have read a post or not. All topics would be subject to this feature. Not whether or not "someone" has read the post, but whether the logged in user has or hasn't.

Knowledge Base: No, there isn't. It's pretty straight forward. You just set up Index Item and Search Directory as you normally would, except you use the blog template for each. See the attached .zip for the templates.
